This multiple component gas mixture is designed predominantly for welding thinner materials. The addition of oxygen in the shielding gas increases arc stability, minimising the amount of spatter. This makes the product ideal for welding components that are painted or powder-coated after welding. However, this product can suffer from lack of sidewall fusion and inter-run porosity when welding thicker material sections.
- Shielding gas recommended for carbon steel and low alloy steel.
